You Only Witch Once: A Wicked Witches of the Midwest Short
I really, really loved this flashback to the girls' teen years. I liked seeing their personalities blooming from their parents' points of view. I really enjoyed seeing Bay and Chief Terry together. Their relationship is referenced a lot in the other books so I really enjoyed the vignette we got to see of them in this short. I hope there's more of them to come :)It was all of the things you've come to expect from a Midwest Witch book, with a little less angst and little more heart, even though you'd expect the reverse.
